Welcome to the Hand-Made Way! Ever since COVID, I’ve had a real desire to settle in the countryside, on my own acre with a few chickens, a cow and a plentiful garden. Unfortunately, the reality is live in the UK and I’m not a millionaire!

It put me on a downer for a while, i admit, realising that my country homestead dreams were unlikely ever to come true until I realised; I didn’t need a homestead to start learning the skills and adopting the key principles which are also the founding theme of The Hand-Made Way; making more, buying less and founding self resilience, one skill at a time!

Happily married, father of four, balancing a full time career as an Engineer and more hobbies than are sensible. Help!
